Nathan Fletcher has reappeared. The former San Diego County supervisor made his first public appearance last week since he resigned from the board amid the MTS scandal.

This week on VOSD Podcast, our hosts share what he had to say. They also explain why San Diego Unified is closing the middle school portions of some of its K-8 schools. And why they are changing their minds about one of those closures.

Also, San Diego Council President Joe LaCava joined us on the show to talk about the City Council’s busy week of big votes. He also weighs in on what it’s like to be mayor of La Jolla.

  1. Great podcast! Nathan Fletchers return and the updates on San Diego Unified schools are really insightful. Joe LaCavas perspective on the City Council and being mayor of La Jolla were also fascinating. Looking forward to more episodes!
