Summer is in full swing, but sometimes us vacationland dwellers need a little extra encouragement to really get into seasonal spirit.
After all, we all know real summer doesn’t start around here until the school year begins (or whenever the beach parking lot chaos chooses to subside).
Voice of San Diego summer playlist, to the rescue!
For the first time ever, we’re asking YOU to help us build the perfect San Diego summer playlist.
This year’s theme? IRL Summer ☀️
We’re looking for songs by local artists or songs with a San Diego/Tijuana connection that will make us wanna peel away from the screens and touch grass. We’re interpreting this broadly, so any songs that put you into your body or make you wanna be in the company of others will fit right in.
The deadline for submission is end of day on Friday, July 24.
Entries can be made in this Google Form.
The final playlist will be posted on Youtube, Spotify, Apple Music and this very website!
Submission does not guarantee inclusion on the playlist. Feel free to submit your own work, or somebody else’s music that you just enjoy.
