Monday, July 10, 2006 | Thank you for the recycling story. I think that one way to finance further recycling is to start charging for trash pickup. I know that suggestion is onerous to many, but a small fee seems like a necessity. People do have to pay for the cost of living in our society. The fee could be small and could possibly be added to other bills we pay, for example our over-priced water bills.
