To Charles Kratz (Ducks Can Fly): Actually, most domestic ducks (white or Peking or Pekinese ducks) can’t fly. They’ve been bred to be so top-heavy they’re too ungainly to fly.

Many of the ducks at ducks ponds are not able to fly away in self-defense, but can only run slowly to try to get away from annoying kids (and adults) who torment them. Duh to you!
