Imperial Beach’s water is clean again, according to the county’s Department of Environmental Health. It closed over the weekend, but reopened Sunday.
Border Field State Park’s water isn’t so clean, the DEH says. That’s been the case since a rainfall on May 22. Three days later, 13 million gallons of sewage-tainted runoff were still pouring into the Tijuana Estuary from the Tijuana River.
