In the spirit of the Voice Pirates, why not voice the obvious: The council obeyed the laws (Sarbanes Oxley for example) after careful reading determined that it would be a useful and legal way to cover up their mismanagement and potentially criminal activities. They even created an impotent committee to further insulate their ill spent use of taxes. Now, we’re just plodding down the path towards the dais where we’ll all hear that expectable utterance: “Geepers yer honor, we didn’t know we’d wind up in this mess. We were just following the law.” I hope his honor answers: “Been there, heard that one before.”
