Friday, Aug. 25, 2006 | So let me get this straight…the mayor “conservatively” estimates his remediation plan is going to cost us only $45 million over a seven-year period and we need to pay $41.3 million over the next five years to the pension system because of the IRS codes and he is going to cut more city services for the taxpayers to do this?

And if anyone opposes this plan he is obstructing reform and the mayor is not going to allow this?

Is this a democracy or a dictatorship? Is this what a “Strong Mayor” form of government is? Oh no, our trusted City Council gets to weigh in on the mayor’s plan as well as the mayor’s appointees to strengthen his plan. (Blank) the taxpayers!

“Let em sue us!”

Who voted these people into office? It wasn’t me!

They all need to be removed, ASAP!
