Downtown condo inventory was back up to 558 units on the resale market, downtown Realtor Lew Breeze reported yesterday. Prices have wobbled a bit in the last few weeks but are down from the beginning of the year.
The nitty-gritty on asking prices for the week ending yesterday:
- The average price was slightly lower, $742,288 – a year-to-date decrease of 6.6 percent.
- The trimmed average price (minus the 15 highest and 15 lowest listings) this week was slightly lower, $682,021.
- The median price was the same as last week, $595,000, down 8.53 percent from the beginning of the year.
More than 20 units were pending sale, and more than 30 closed sale in the previous 30-day period, during which condos sold for an average of nearly 3 percent less than the asking price.
