The Registrar of Voters just posted the latest vote tallies and Francine Busby has fallen further behind Rep. Brian Bilbray.

Busby, who is refusing to concede the race until all of the votes are counted, still has 43 percent of the vote and is trailing Bilbray by 10 percentage points. But Busby is now down nearly 20,000 votes, compared to 17,000 votes Thursday afternoon, according to the registrar’s website.

There are approximately 110,000 provisional, paper and absentee ballots left to count countywide with an unknown number from the 50th District.

Busby and her campaign staff said they expect to close the gap as those votes are counted.
