Yesterday we reported on the letters sent out by National City Mayor Ron Morrison to officials from the county, city of San Diego and San Diego State University.

Here’s the response from Fred Sainz, spokesman to San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders:

We thank the mayor for his letter, we’ve been working closely and collaboratively with the city manager there in National City. Basically nothing’s off the table. Nothing specific been discussed in terms of city property. But we definitely believe this is a regional issue. As specifics begin to gel, if they do in fact gel, we would be more than happy to discuss … how the city could be most helpful.
