A lawyer for Sunroad Enterprises said tonight that the company will heed the city’s demand to lower its office tower in Kearny Mesa near Montgomery Field Airport. The announcement comes after days of speculation about how the company would respond to calls by Mayor Jerry Sanders and City Attorney Mike Aguirre to lower the 180-feet building to the 160-foot height limit the Federal Aviation Administration set.
