Dennis Cravello, an attorney for Sunroad, said that by agreeing to lower the building, the company does not admit any wrongdoing and that its case seeking damages from the city will move forward.

“At a time like this, being right is not enough,” Cravello said. “The Sunroad Centrum building has become a lightening rod of divisiveness in San Diego.”
