Friday, Sept. 28, 2007 | Truly incredible and it has never come close to happening before. Seven teams, three days and three games each to go in the last week of September play-offs race to the October playoffs and absolutely nothing has been decided in the National League. It is so convoluted that two of the three NL divisions could end up in a tie and four teams including our Padres tied for the wild card come Sunday night.

And there remains a glimmer of great optimism that our Padres may even finish with the best record in the National League.
