Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008 | The local cities’ climate-change promises became an afterthought most likely because the hysteria of man-made catastrophic warming can’t be proven. Among the trouble-observed temperatures don’t match the climate models relied on the IPCC, more recent studies show the sun contributing more to recent warming than IPCCers thought, the Al Gore movie has been shown to be political and inacturate-at best, and larger numbers of academic scientists see the IPCC “proof” as dubious.
Maybe if the hysterical wailing and gnashing of teeth will subside towards reason we really can discuss how to balance the needs of growth and conservation.
