Sunday, March 16, 2008 | “Affordable” is not a precise term. My definition is that the cost of shelter should never exceed 10 percent to 25 percent of one’s income. Our manufactured home in Mexico sold for $25,000 without the land. Even at this low price, it is beyond the means of most hard-working individuals in a corporate state where 40 families control and own approximately 80 percent of the land. We must address the land issue, not only there, but right here in “River City.” Please go to our website.

(P.S. Obviously, I am senior to my opponents. But the fact of the matter is that my experience exceeds their combined experience, and experience is the basis for sound judgment.)
