Several key administrators at San Diego Unified are leaving the school district. Ursula Kroemer, director of communications, is leaving this month, and Pete Iverson, chief business officer and interim executive director of facilities, will be leaving in December, Kroemer confirmed earlier this month.

Area superintendent Karen Frison, whose area includes schools in San Carlos and Allied Gardens, is also leaving, her office confirmed.

Staff turnover is typical in school districts when a new superintendent comes in. But is this a pattern? I’m not sure. If you know of other high-level departures from San Diego Unified, please shoot me an e-mail.
