Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008|The 10th Avenue Marine Terminal provides more than 67,000 well-paying jobs for working families. Doesn’t anybody care? This ballot (if it goes through) would create 10,000 more jobs, but 85 percent would pay minimum wage. If we lose 10th Avenue, next to go is CP Kelco, NASCO, 24th Street, and then whoever is left. If you give the developers one inch, they’ll go for the whole bay.
