The City Council voted 7-1 today to reappoint Fred Maas, Kim Kilkenny and Robert McNeely to the Centre City Development Corp.’s board of directors for three-year terms. Councilwoman Donna Frye cast the dissenting vote.

Their terms had expired May 1.

Teddy Cruz, a University of California, San Diego, visual arts professor, is still serving on an expired term, which lapsed in 2007.

The reappointments come at a time when CCDC’s operations have been under heavy scrutiny following revelations that its former president had an ongoing business relationship with two downtown developers. Maas, the board chairman, has served as the redevelopment authority’s public face during the ordeal.
