For the second time this summer, the same cadre of DINOs [or Democrats In Name Only] have chimed in on behalf of the milquetoast Republican favorite Jan Goldsmith. Proudly testifying once again (and getting double the coverage in voice) in favor of the GOP’s man are a long-retired Democratic state senator who now works as a pseudo-lobbyist; another really aged Democratic ex-state senator who does lord knows what these days; a termed-out city councilman who was defeated in the primary for the city attorney’s job; and another city councilman who is a big landlord in his own redevelopment area/council district.
Why are these titular Democrats going out of their way to trash their fellow Democrat, Mike Aguirre? In what ways might he threaten them? Can voice answer those questions for its readers?
