The People's Reporter

For those of you who are new to the People’s Reporter, here’s how it works: All day Thursday, you are voiceofsandiego.org education reporter Emily Alpert‘s boss.

Normally that’s my job, but I’ll cede it to you readers for a day.

So send Emily your questions and hot tips, and she’ll respond throughout the day with answers and information she finds out on your behalf. Remember: she’s the education reporter, so try to keep it on-topic.

Here’s a suggestion from me: Ask her about her two-part investigation into school administrator Mike Hazelton and charter schools’ vulnerability to fiscal mismanagement, which ran Wednesday and Thursday. If you haven’t read them yet, check them out.
