If you’re looking for tips on ways to conserve water in your landscaping, the Water Conservation Garden at Cuyamaca College is holding a series of presentations at a gardening festival this Saturday.

The event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. will include a sale on low-water-use plants and talks from gardening experts offering tips about planning drought-tolerant gardens.

With supplies crimped, local water officials point to water use outside as the primary conservation target for helping save enough water to stave off mandatory water rationing next year.

More information is available on the garden’s website.
