In case you were interested in some fun this weekend, I’ve got a couple reports for you.

The first dispatch is from City Attorney Jan Goldsmith, who issued his promised 61-page report on city pensions and options for reform.

I’m nowhere near done unpacking it, but it’s worth noting, as the U-T has, that the appendices begin on page 33.

The second is a proposed survey of city residents on the city budget and the unending deficits. There’s already grumbling from CityBeat about the survey not including cell phones.

The Office of the Independent Budget Analyst has provided background on the survey, which will be heard at City Council’s Budget and Finance Committee on Wednesday.
