My friends have started calling the Hipstamatic app, which I used to take this picture on my iPhone, “that thing that makes every picture look really cool.”
I don’t think every picture looks great using this tool, and you still need some good content to focus on, but I do love the results. This particular image is of Elsa Bacon, who might be the world’s sweetest lady. I had the opportunity to photograph her today outside her City Heights’ home for an upcoming story by Adrian Florido. You’ll see another image of her accompanying that story.
