We received pretty good response to last week’s caption contest, an image of City Attorney Jan Goldsmith on election night. There were a lot of comments on Facebook. Here are a few of my favorites:

Joe Vee, on Facebook:

“How do you like my Bob Filner impression?”

Debbie Terry, on Facebook:

They think I am going to be better than Aguirre.

And Dennis Schell, on Facebook:

Crony-baloney! I’m imagining Aguirre’s face when he finds out that I’m going to fix Casey Gwinn’s parking tickets but not his!

This week’s image is from our archive. It’s a picture I shot while on assignment with Adrian Florido at the Chinese Friendship Association in City Heights. This woman was praying during a Buddhist prayer ceremony but use your imagination and send us your own best caption for the photo. You can even use your caption to channel your own prayers and hopes for San Diego. You can post the caption in the comments section or post a message on Facebook or Twitter.
