Emily Alpert’s story today about the future of a preschool ratings system led with an anecdote about a “pigtailed girl in a blue cape piecing together a puzzle on the carpet.”

Well, this is that girl. As is sometimes the case with youth, we weren’t allowed to photograph faces or identify students by name at this school. Lucky for this photo, the cape says it all.
