Last week, I wasn’t able to get around to the next installment of the San Diego People Project.

With the launch of our new arts section and all the other stories I’ve been working on, there just wasn’t time in the day.

This blog will also be a bit slow for the next couple of weeks. This week, I’m preparing to head to the 62nd annual Missouri Photo Workshop.

This should be a great learning experience — and hopefully, you’ll be the benefactors of the better images I’ll make and stories I tell after I come back.

While I’m gone, a few freelance photojournalists will be keeping our stories well-illustrated.

And as I prepare for the trip, this blog may be a bit slower than normal. But I’ll be back soon with some important lessons under my belt.
