The next forum in the Bronowski Art & Science series is tonight. The forum features Oceanside-born artist Ruben Ochoa, who makes large sculptures with shipping pallets, concrete, rebar and chain-link fencing. And opposite him will be Teddy Cruz, a well-known local architect who focuses on neighborhoods in border regions. Robert Pincus, former U-T art critic, will moderate the discussion.

I interviewed Ron Newby, the forum’s coordinator, a couple of weeks ago about the intersections between art and science.

The forum is tonight at 7 p.m. at the Neurosciences Institute auditorium in La Jolla. If you go, drop me a line afterward and tell me what the discussion made you think about.
