The final week before the Nov. 2 election will see numerous debates on Proposition D, the city of San Diego’s sales tax and financial reform ballot measure.

I will be moderating one tomorrow afternoon at the Asian Business Association’s Rice Club Luncheon at Jasmine Seafood Restaurant in Kearny Mesa. Mayor Jerry Sanders and City Councilman Todd Gloria will be speaking for Yes on D. Councilman Carl DeMaio and San Diego County Taxpayers Association President Lani Lutar will be speaking for No on D.

The debate (and lunch) costs $25 for members, $35 for non-members and $40 at the door. Lunch begins at noon and the forum will start at 12:45 p.m. More details about the debate are here.

Here’s a link to the full Prop. D debate we sponsored in September. Our media partners at NBC 7/39 will be hosting a live debate on Prop. D on Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
