As I approached the door at Pam Medhurst’s Clairemont Mesa home, I knew I’d found the right house. Barking — a lot of it — immediately ensued.
It was a joy of an assignment though, crouching down in her backyard as she and her husband fed treats to their pack of search and rescue beagles. Here are a few of my favorite outtakes.
