Why is it the City Council cares more about the union stores than they do about the desires of the people of San Diego?

Every drugstore, Target, etc., sells food. Why not Walmart? If it is a traffic concern, then why did Poway let Walgreens build a store on the corner of Poway Road and Community Road. I love shopping at Walmart. The prices are low, and it’s much more convenient to buy food there then to run all over the city.

My husband and I are on a fixed income. We love spending the winters in San Diego and the summers in Michigan, but the price of gas and food is driving us out of our retirement dream in San Diego.

Please support Walmart’s expansion for the good of the seniors who shop there and the community.
