From the Reporter
What Happened
The teachers union has cut off talks with the superintendent about school reform, exacerbating confusion over what, exactly, the district’s community reform plans mean.
Why I Chose This Story
The chance for the union and the school district to team up on reform was one of the most intriguing parts of this plan. Now that togetherness isn’t happening.
What I Want to Know
Both sides say they’re still pushing ahead with reform on their own. But how will working separately reshape a reform plan that is rooted in everyone working together?
