This edition of Fact Check TV in partnership with NBC7 San Diego examines two recent claims. Allen Chan, an advocate for the Asian community, correctly described San Diego’s Asian population as growing faster than other minority groups. And San Diego Unified Superintendent Bill Kowba claimed that test scores have steadily improved across all grades and all subjects in the past six years. Though we found numerous exceptions, the overall trend he described fell in the correct ballpark.
