What We Know |
Wildlife Services has killed more than 18,000 animals in San Diego County since 2005, including some of the county’s most dynamic species like mountain lions and bobcats, songbirds and ducks. |
What We Want To Know |
We want to know why each animal has been killed, where it was killed, whether any deaths were avoidable and why dozens of animals were killed despite not causing any threat. |
What We Don’t Know |
The U.S. Agriculture Department provided scant details in response to our legal request for records, making it impossible to independently verify whether its trappers are acting judiciously, reasonably and legally. |
