I subscribed to U-T San Diego for over 35 years and recently cancelled my subscription because of the way they promoted their election picks (the two foldovers on the front section).

I have two friends who have just cancelled their subscriptions due to the editorial stating that President Obama is the worst president in the history of the country (Bush didn’t even make the list). One friend is an attorney who subscribed for over 33 years and the other is a political science professor at San Diego State and subscribed for 40 years.

Isn’t there a story here? The future of our only daily printed paper is grim at best. Manchester (or Lynch?) seems to be using the paper as his personal propaganda rag. It’s just horrible.
