With a few staffing and logistical changes at Voice of San Diego, we have decided to shift the scope and name of a weekly segment that we produce in partnership with NBC 7 San Diego.
The new segment, formerly called Fact Check TV, will be hosted by CEO Scott Lewis and focus on a broader array of local news coverage. Lewis will review recent fact checks as well as other stories our organization has been pursuing.
You can watch the first edition of The Weekly Facts below. Lewis fact checks a recent claim about the U-T San Diego’s push for a waterfront football stadium and discusses a couple of comical photos from the archives of San Diego Magazine and the public library.
New episodes of The Weekly Facts will appear on NBC 7 San Diego every Friday during the 6 p.m. newscast and our website the following Monday. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
