Lewis gave himself a false verdict in a fact check of an earlier column. Another fact check, this one about police stats, indirectly led the trio to give the Goat of the Week to Councilwoman Marti Emerald. Hero of the Week went to Walt Ekard, chief operating officer for the city, who is leaving his post in coming weeks.
