David Loy, from the ACLU, has questions for police about how far they pushed protesters away after Friday’s demonstrations against Donald Trump.
Loy, legal director of the ACLU of San Diego and Imperial Counties who specializes in civil liberties and law enforcement, joins co-hosts Scott Lewis and Andrew Keatts this week to talk about the San Diego Police Department’s big, militarized response to the anti-Trump rally.
“We’re very concerned that the police response was excessive in relationship to whatever threat there may have been,” Loy said.
