Why is it that the firefighters, who were given the Firefighter III rank by the City Council during last years negotiations, had to wait a year to get it? Not everyone who was a Firefighter II, with 3 years and the other training, got the FF III position. You insinuate that everyone on the Fire Department got this rank. Not true; once you promote, you no longer hold the position of firefighter. You don’t like firefighters? Is that why you make your articles so one-sided?
