Monday, June 5, 2006 | I am a city of San Diego employee of 26 years. I just received a pay cut of about $500 a month. This is due to the rising cost of health care and no increase in salaries or benefits. Five hundred dollars! This is a huge amount. No more extras at home. It’s peanut butter & jelly and macaroni & cheese.
