Tuesday, June 27, 2006 | San Diego is on the great circle route to nowhere…our geography, not the size of our airport, dictates that.

The doom and gloom is all about land grabs at both Lindbergh and Miramar. Enough!

Improvements at and to Lindbergh Field will suffice long into the future. (Start by getting rid of the Laurel Street Parking Garage and regain the 1800 feet of landing runway it cost us.)

If and when we seriously want to consider the best location for a new and larger airport, reopen negotiations with Mexico.

The only place for joint use is at Rodriguez, not MCAS Miramar!
