Who is this guy anyway? Does he ever go to the beach? Has he taken a walk anywhere in downtown? What about the times you walk down a street behind a smoker? It’s like driving behind a car that can’t pass smog.
Cigarettes everywhere! Its time that our local governments take steps towards cleaning things up! I don’t read anything in the ordinance that would indicate that the council is disinterested in cleaning up other sources of pollution. So what is so wrong with starting with one source at a time?
I do recall that we do have a budget crisis, but that does not mean we should slip into a depressed state which is exhibited by a dirty city. This guy certainly doesn’t speak for me or any other active San Diegans that want a clean environment to work and play.
