The early bird gets the worm – and the census statistics. At 7:00 a.m. (PST) tomorrow, you can watch a U.S. Census Bureau webcast in the comfort of your own home.
New national, state-by-state and some local data on income, poverty and health insurance coverage will be released tomorrow from the Current Population Survey and the 2005 American Community Survey.
So, you have a couple of options. If you’re lonely or just enjoy a good government statistical analysis webcast every now and again, you can get up, make some coffee and watch the presentation.
Or, I’ll post some of the information that relates specifically to San Diego here tomorrow. Public policy analysts and the San Diego-based Center on Policy Initiatives will be reporting the pertinent poverty/income data for the region.
The California Budget Project will also have some statewide analysis on its website after the reports are released tomorrow.
