Remember the days when we were talking about the viability of building a $15 billion to $25 billion high-speed magnetic-levitation train to Imperial County? (Well, OK, when Congressman Bob Filner, D-San Diego, was talking about it.)

The maglev technology got a setback today in Germany, when at least 25 passengers were killed on a test track. Human error is being blamed.
