Friday, May 8, 2009 | The editorial pages of the Union Tribune do not reflect the views of the population the paper serves. The demographics and politics of San Diegans have changed in the past decade – more Democratic, more progressive, and more diverse. However, the editorial page stinks like trash left over from 1981. It publishes verbatim from state GOP briefings, colludes with major corporations, and fans Reagonite hysteria about “government”. Now is the time for the Union Tribune to be circumspect about its flag-bearing editors that are anti-government, anti-worker, and anti-regulation.
