I had a lot of fun photographing Tchaiko Kwayana for Emily Alpert’s Q&A this week. She was pretty relaxed and open to try fun poses, provided I finish in time to let her get back to teaching.
I really liked this shot of Tchaiko because I felt it conveyed her ability to have fun and joke around despite talking about some pretty heavy topics.
Ultimately, we spiked the photo because of the glare coming off her glasses. Little technical problems like that can be very distracting in photos and we thought it was significant enough to choose a different shot. What do you think?
