As you may know, the MTS did not offer bus service to the Chargers game on Sunday and apparently will not offer them for the rest of the season. They have cancelled dozens of MTS buses to allow (I think) four buses offered by a private company (Sports Fan Express) at about twice the cost and less convenient time. This has resulted in hundreds more cars on the road which, of course means more congestion, more pollution and many more unhappy folks left standing in the parking lots. Shame on the UT and the Chargers for not advertising the cancellation.

Why did the MTS cancel the buses? Do they have to cancel dozens of MTS buses for four(?) private contractor buses at twice the price? Why haven’t our local politicians become concerned with this problem? Why haven’t the Chargers attacked this problem?

Some of us Charger fans would love to see this investigated.
