I got an interesting text message on Tuesday from a community organizer in Linda Vista who was trying to get in touch with Nathan E. Johnson, one of four candidates running for City Council District 7.
“May u please share nathan Johnson contact info?” the text read. “I would like to invite him to our candidate forum, but am having a hard time locating.”
Yeah, me too.
Johnson’s campaign doesn’t have a website. He hasn’t listed a telephone number with the County Registrar of Voters. Google doesn’t seem to know who he is, and nor does anybody who I have spoken to in District 7.
He’s an enigma.
Mr. Johnson, please get in touch. I would love to interview you! Anybody who knows the candidate, please urge him to give me a call as soon as possible.
