From the first time we heard about the long-hidden Aztec Brewing Co. murals, both KPBS arts reporter Angela Carone and I have loved telling our friends about this slice of San Diego history that we were eager to share with all of you this week.

And yesterday, VOSD’s news partners NBC7 San Diego aired a great peek at the old murals and their potential new life. I talked on camera with the eternally curious Ken Kramer for his “About San Diego” segment:
