Bob Filner has promised that you’ll see a different him if he’s elected mayor. The scrappy, bombastic and populist fighter will give way to a reasoned and measured leader for all.
That was his message in Liam Dillon’s profile last week, and at least one person says he buys it: political consultant Tom Shepard. The odd couple made a big splash last week, and we broke it down on the latest edition of VOSD Radio.
Plus, we have some Hero-of-the-Week controversy. The Museum of Art won the award for standing up for its involvement in the U.S. attorney hoax. Then it started to back away from that involvement.
