It’s official- San Diego Unified School District has fired Superintendent Lamont Jackson. Now, the board is looking at Deputy Superintendent Fabiola Bagula to take his place.

On this week’s podcast, our hosts discuss the terms of Jackson’s termination and how Bagula is dancing around the elephant in the room. Plus, our hosts get into how recent fires might lead to bans on building renewable battery facilities, a wonky regulation that could throw a wrench in the county’s climate goals.
